There is a strong tradition of music and drama at Winbury and we are often to be found winning prizes at local festivals.

All children learn to sing and develop a sense of rhythm by playing percussion instruments.  From age 5 they have the opportunity to learn to read music and to play the recorder and compose their own little pieces.

Children love to act and there is weekly opportunity for them to express themselves through the creative arts of speech and drama.

Theatre outings are organised to expose the children to professional performances and travelling groups are invited to school on a regular basis.
