    Trips and Visits

Each term the children’s learning experiences are enriched with a variety of visits.  Some are to local historical sites to allow the children to experience the past for themselves.

Visitors to school include story tellers, brass rubbing experts, hands on history experts, musicians and artists, travelling zoos, and animal farms.

In their final year the children have a class weekend field trip to the Isle of Wight where they visit Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle and enjoy outdoor art lessons.

They also enjoy a day out in France to visit a seaside village near Calais where they practise with pride their French language skills.

"Staff provide children with very good opportunities, through effective planning, to develop and extend their physical skills indoors and outdoors. They have access to a range of equipment and resources, which they use with enthusiasm and growing confidence."
